Welcome to Cattery Snowcap! My name is Akiko Takahashi. I live in Yokohama, Japan together with my cats and my husband. The encounter of Norwegian Forest Cat and me was in 1998. When I met my first Norwegian Forest Cat, I became the captive of the pretty character of Norwegian Forest Cat in a moment. Norwegian Forest Cat gave much happiness to our life since that day. And after 3 years, I met a lovely boy of Sweden. He taught more good character of Norwegian Forest Cat to me. And in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010, I met very sweet boys and very lovely girls. I always learn many things from them. I am deeply grateful to my friend Anette(S*Istindra's), Berit(S*Grianan's), Anette(S*Micehunter's), Lotta(S*Lonnebergas), Pia(S*Tailor Hill's), and their many friends for this wonderful meeting... All meetings were really very nice times... Cattery Snowcap named from my favorite mountain and the snow. It means "the snow of the top of the mountain."
